IV Guard® IV Line Organizer
The IV Guard offers a simple and easy to use solution for managing IVs. Each of the 7 ports accommodates one IV line which slides freely when the patient is turned or moved, but otherwise remain stationary. The separate IV lines are always manageable, clearly identifiable and traceable to their IV bags (a feature amplified when used in conjunction with the included medication labels). IV lines can be adjusted to eliminate droop to floor level minimizing trip/fall, pull and contamination issues. Lines can simultaneously be positioned to avoid being caught between the patient and mattress. The user side has a recessed patient sticker space and two knobs that allow easy and secure tightening to any bed rail or IV pole.
Each package contains 12 IV Guard® IV Line Organizers

Use of the IV Guard reduces the complexity of monitoring and managing multiple fluids and medications, and makes it easier and safer to turn, move and ambulate the patient. The potential for cost reduction and the increase in safety related to medication error, IV dislodgement and falls is substantial with addition of the IV Guard to standard precautions, especially from a medicolegal perspective.
